Colorado MandalaColorado Mandala by Brian Heffron
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

What were the main relationships explored in this book? Colorado Mandala focuses on four main characters. These characters are then connected to each other and their relationships take on different forms and emotions. You have Paul and Michael's relationship where Paul attempts to take on the role of "fixer". Then you have Paul and Sarah's relationship which develops into something strong but you will have to read to the end to find out how strong. The other relationships that are explored are Michael and Sarah; Sarah and her son, Stuart.

What did you like about the book … The characters were down to earth and loaded with emotion. Each of them had revelations for the one another and at times it seemed that Michael's PTSD functioned as a healing mechanism for all of them.

Favorite character(s)... Sarah. Next to Paul she was in the most difficult of positions. Mother, lover and friend. It was easiest to connect with her and from the beginning I wanted things to work out for her.
